Video Content | Enstrom

 

When Enstrom Candies reached out to our agency, they wanted to create shareable social videos to increase their sales during the holiday season. Due to timing and budget constraints, I knew there was a challenge ahead. In two weeks, we pulled off shooting six brand anthem videos and 84 fifteen-second clips that could be used across Facebook and Instagram. These videos were used to get consumers into their remarketing funnel and then linked to landing pages that included more content and product links.

 

With more than 1.2 million video views, Enstrom's web traffic increased by 200% and their online revenue was up 103%, giving them a very successful holiday season.

Brand Strategy & Launch

 

Launching Apparent Insurance, the sister company to Elephant Insurance, was a nine-month project I was immediately brought into after joining the company. This included having to present our launch plan to the entire company (of more than 700 people.) From focus group research to creating a paid social media campaign to developing a consistent brand tone and design, this project was a huge undertaking—and one of my proudest career moments.*

*Unfortunately, COVID-19 created budget cuts for Apparent and we've had to put the majority of our marketing efforts on hold for the time being.

Lead Brand Strategist | Elephant insurance

Working in an industry as vast as auto insurance, you constantly have to think about how to set yourself apart from the bigger players. As a DTC brand, we wanted to target millennials, so we developed a new logo, website, social look and feel, and paid social strategy. I created the new look for our social channels, revamped the paid strategy for our acquisition channels, and managed the organic content calendar. All of our creative was produced in-house with our graphic designer and me in the role of creative director.

Social content | Freelance

Going out on my own as a freelancer, while simultaneously creating my own brand, was one of the most nerve-wracking things I have done, but it taught me how to manage my time,  create successful brand partnerships, and be a boss. Through these efforts, I ended up working with some awesome brands such as DearNeighbor, Lively, Ayond, and more on engaging multichannel campaigns.

Blog and Social Campaign | Elephant Insurance 

After surveying a large group of consumers on basic insurance knowledge, we realized the average person finds insurance convoluted and confusing. Our mission was to create a ten-week social and blog strategy to debunk insurance myths. Together with our graphic designer, I developed the "Mythbuster Machine" campaign, which paid homage to the 1960s fan favorite, while still aligning around our brand.

I coordinated a social campaign around pillar blog posts that launched once a week. To create engagement, we built a carousel image model which gave people a chance to physically engage with our posts. Additionally, trivia-based Instagram Stories gamified the campaign. 

Our efforts resulted in over 5 million impressions, an average CTR of 4.48%, and over 40,000 clicks.
